  • What spa packs are compatible with in.touch2 ?
    • In.touch 2 is compatible with all Gecko X and Y series control system made in 2012 and later. 
  • How do I install in.touch 2?
    • Please refer to the included installation manual or contact a professional for assistance. 
  • Can I use in.touch 2 with my existing Wi-Fi network?
    • Yes, in.touch 2 can be configured to connect to your existing Wi-Fi network. 
  • Can I use in.touch 2 with my mobile device or computer?
    • The in.touch 2 is compatible with both iOS and Android mobile devices via the in.touch 2 app available from the App Store or Google Play. 
  • Why can't I add my spa to in.touch 2 for the first time?
    • Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as in.touch 2. 
  • Why don’t I see the « select a spa » page when I open my in.touch 2 application?
    • Try the following to display the « select a spa » page:
      1. Take a look at your app and make sure you have the right one. You need the in.touch 2 application. in.touch 2 does not work with the in.touch home or in.touch world applications.
      2. Be sure the LED status of your home and spa transmitters are either green or blue to make sure both transmitters are connected to one another.
      3. Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same router (network) then your in.touch 2 home transmitter.
      If none of the above seems to be the problem, reset your in.touch 2 home transmitter.
  • My spa is listed on the “select a spa” page but I can’t connect with it. When I try, the message: “The communication with the in.touch cannot be established yet” is displayed on my screen. What’s happening?
    • This message can show up if your signal strength is too low. On your signal icon, if you have only a green dot or a green dot and just one green bar, it indicates the RF signal between the in.touch 2 home and spa transmitters is very low. Look at the status LED of your in.touch 2 home transmitter.  If the LED is blinking, try to reduce the distance between your two transmitters or try to clear physical obstacles between them. If the problem persists, your 2 transmitters may not be paired.
  • What should I do if my in.touch 2 loses its connection?
    • Try restarting the in.touch 2 home module, resetting your Wi-Fi router and resetting your spa at the breaker. Next, quit and then restart the app on your mobile device. 
  • How do I know if in.touch 2 is connected to my spa?
    • The in.touch 2 modules feature status LEDs that indicate when it's connected to your spa. 
  • What do the different LED colors and patterns mean on the in.touch 2 home module?
      • A yellow flashing LED indicates that in.touch 2 is in pairing mode. 
      • A solid red LED indicates that in.touch 2 cannot detect the router. 
      • A solid green LED indicates that in.touch 2 has detected your router. 
      • A solid blue LED indicates that the in.touch 2 server is detected and the module is fully functional. 
  • What do the different LED colors and patterns mean on the in.touch 2 spa module?
      • A yellow flashing LED indicates that in.touch 2 is in pairing mode. 
      • A solid red LED indicates that the control system is not detected. 
      • A solid blue LED indicates that the in.touch 2 server is detected and the module is fully functional. 
  • I have an intermittent connection to my spa. I’m able to connect to my spa, but the application often comes back to the “select a spa page” without notice. What’s the problem?
    • First, verify your RF signal strength. You need to have a minimum of 2 bars to have a stable signal. The distance between the in.touch 2 home and spa transmitters is maybe too long, so, try to decrease it by placing the home transmitter closer to the spa and making sure that the spa transmitter is placed on the side of the spa facing your house. Longer ethernet cable may be needed to relocate your home transmitter to a new "closer to spa" location.
  • What can be the causes of a bad signal?
    • Too long a distance between the in.touch 2 home and spa transmitters can affect the quality of the signal. To maximize signal strength, try reducing the distance between the two transmitters. If the home transmitter is installed in the basement, obstacles like walls (thick cement for example) or metal structures can affect the quality of the signal. Inclement weather (heavy rain, snow, etc.) can also be an influential factor.
  • What should I do if I encounter other issues with in.touch 2?
    • Please refer to the in.touch 2 techbook for troubleshooting tips and contact Gecko support for assistance if necessary. 
  • How do I ensure my in.touch 2 connection remains secure?
    • Make sure to keep in.touch 2 and your Wi-Fi network up to date with the latest firmware and security updates. Additionally, make sure to use strong and unique passwords for your in.touch 2 and Wi-Fi network. 
  • What’s the difference between the original in.touch and in.touch 2?
    • The original in.touch was linked by Wi-Fi with your home router.  Now, with its pre-paired radio frequency (RF) home and spa transmitters, the in.touch 2 has a better and stronger connection with your phone or tablet. The in.touch 2 is faster, easier to use and easier to install on your spa or at home.
  • What is the in.touch 2 vocal assistant?
    • The in.touch 2 vocal assistant is an integration with Amazon Alexa that allows you to control your spa using voice commands.
  • What devices are compatible with the in.touch 2 vocal assistant?
    • The in.touch 2 vocal assistant is compatible with Amazon Alexa-enabled devices, such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Show.
  • How do I set up the in.touch 2 vocal assistant?
    • To set up the in.touch 2 vocal assistant, you need to link your in.touch 2 account with your Amazon Alexa account through the Alexa app, and enable the in.touch 2 skill.
  • What commands can I use with the in.touch 2 vocal assistant?
    • You can use voice commands to turn on and off your spa, set the water temperature, and turn on the jets, among other functions.
  • How do I troubleshoot issues with the in.touch 2 vocal assistant?
    • If you experience issues with the in.touch 2 vocal assistant, you can try disabling and re-enabling the in.touch 2 skill, unlinking and relinking your accounts, and ensuring that your spa and Alexa devices are connected to the same network.
  • Can I use the in.touch 2 vocal assistant to check my spa's water chemistry?
    • No, the in.touch 2 vocal assistant does not have the capability to monitor your spa's water chemistry.
  • Can I use the in.touch 2 vocal assistant with the in.touch 1 system?
    • No, the in.touch 2 vocal assistant is only compatible with the in.touch 2 system.
